This new addition will redefine how you view and analyze player movements, bringing a whole new level of depth to your sports analysis.
How to use Automatic Tracking
While our software has always provided the option to create static drawings, we’re now taking things a step further. You can now track players as they move across the field, court, or ice, bringing your analysis to life. This dynamic feature is easy to use – with a few simple clicks, you can select a player and track their movements for a span of 10 seconds at a time. If you need to adjust the trajectory, you can pause the video, reposition the tracking box, and then continue. Here’s a quick guide on how to use the Automatic Player Tracking feature:
Step 1: Start Tracking
Begin by clicking on the tracking icon in the toolbar. This will activate the tracking mode in our software.
Step 2: Choose Your Player
Next, select the player you wish to track. Simply click on the player in the video. Their outline will be highlighted to confirm your selection.
Step 3: Set the Trajectory
Once the player is selected, press the “Start Tracking” button. This will allow the software to track and record the player’s movement path, or trajectory, over the next 10 seconds of video footage.
Step 4: Adjust the Trajectory
If you need to fix the tracked trajectory, there’s no need to worry. Just pause the video, move the tracking box to the desired position, and then click on the “Start Tracking” button again. Our software will reprocess the video and adjust the trajectory accordingly.
Step 5: Complete the Tracking
After 10 seconds, or whenever you’re ready to stop tracking, simply press the “Finish Tracking” button. This will finalize the player’s movement path and add it to your analysis.
